She earned a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kent State University. Of her role at The Cleveland Foundation Kuri said, "I firmly believe that this is an exceptional moment for Greater Cleveland. We have a new generation of local leadership that includes civic, government and nonprofit leaders who are bringing fresh perspectives" (Cleveland Foundation, 2023).
